These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ryze Guides website, Ryze Wayfinder, digital products, Action Plans, growth-system memberships, coaching, and related services. By using a service, creating an account, making a purchase, or booking a session, you agree to these Terms and to the terms shown at the point of purchase or booking.
If you do not agree, do not use or purchase the applicable service.
1. About Ryze Guides
Ryze Guides is a single-member limited liability company that provides educational resources, written decision support, growth-system memberships, coaching, and practical guidance across Job Search, Career Growth, New Founders, and Agentic AI.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials and devices, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Do not share a paid account or use another person’s account without permission. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse, or enforce these Terms.
3. Action Plans and digitally delivered products
Action Plans are one-time services. The offer page and checkout identify the selected domain, depth, price, intake, and included output. The current Action Plan process begins after you complete the required intake and provide any optional documents you want reviewed. After reviewing the completed intake, Ryze Guides confirms the delivery date for the written breakdown and measurable next steps.
Guides, templates, and other digitally delivered products are provided electronically. Unless an offer says otherwise, they are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use.
Refunds for one-time products and services
- Guides and templates may be eligible for a good-faith refund request within 90 days of purchase, subject to applicable platform rules and protection against misuse or excessive downloading.
- Audits, reviews, rewrites, and completed Action Plan work are final once the completed work has been delivered, except where law requires otherwise.
- If Ryze Guides cannot provide a purchased service, we may reschedule, replace, credit, or refund the affected portion as appropriate.
4. Memberships, trials, and recurring billing
Ryze Guides memberships provide the ongoing growth system, tools, resources, progress features, and updates described on the current offer page. A membership covers only the domains and benefits identified at checkout; coaching is included only when the specific offer expressly says so.
Before checkout, we show the trial length, amount due today, recurring amount, billing cadence, included domains, and available cancellation path. Unless the checkout says otherwise:
- the trial lasts 14 days and costs $0 today;
- a valid payment method is required;
- when the trial ends, the selected membership automatically converts to the recurring billing term you chose;
- monthly, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month terms renew on the same cadence until canceled; and
- prepaid discounts change the effective monthly cost but do not change the selected renewal cadence.
You authorize the displayed recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge, and cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next renewal charge. In other words, cancel before the next billing period begins. You can cancel through Account & Billing when that control is available or contact general@ryze-guides.com for help. Cancellation stops future renewals; access ordinarily continues through the end of the paid billing period unless the checkout, platform, or applicable law says otherwise.
Membership refunds
Membership charges are final once a paid billing period begins and the membership service is made available. Ryze Guides does not issue full or prorated refunds for a billing period or membership service already received, used, or made available, including when you cancel before that paid period ends. This does not limit a refund or remedy required by law, a correction for an unauthorized or duplicate charge, or an appropriate refund or credit when Ryze Guides fails to provide the purchased access.
If you subscribe through Apple, the App Store shows the price, period, trial, and renewal terms before purchase. Apple manages that subscription’s billing, cancellation, and refund process through your Apple Account. A website membership is billed and managed through the website checkout and Account & Billing path instead. We will identify the purchase channel before asking you to subscribe and will not describe one channel’s cancellation path as though it controls the other.
Changing domains, upgrading, or downgrading may change price and entitlements. We will show the material terms before the change is confirmed. We will not intentionally enroll you in overlapping versions of the same membership without a clear confirmation.
5. Coaching and bookings
Coaching is a live strategy service booked through Amelia in the current Products page. The booking flow identifies the session length, price, available times, and service description.
- Rescheduling must follow the timeframe shown at booking and must occur at least four hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Missed appointments and late cancellations may be forfeited without a refund.
- Coaching becomes final once the scheduled session begins, except where law requires otherwise.
- Ryze Guides may reschedule because of an unforeseen circumstance and will work with you on a replacement time.
Coaching is intended to clarify a problem, tradeoff, or next move. It is not therapy, legal advice, medical advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of a business or career outcome.
6. Ryze Wayfinder and beta features
Ryze Wayfinder may be released in beta while features are still being tested. Beta features may change, pause, reset, or be removed. We will identify material limits, prices, and data handling before asking you to use a connected or paid feature.
Current membership benefits are available through the website as described on the offer page. A reference to a future Wayfinder feature does not promise that the feature is already included, available on every device, or ready for production use.
You are responsible for keeping your device and operating system reasonably current. Do not use the app to store passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers, medical records, or other information the feature does not request.
7. Optional community participation
Community participation is optional. You may browse or use private features without joining a member directory when the product offers that choice. If you post a comment or contribution, you remain responsible for its accuracy, lawfulness, and effect on others.
Do not post harassment, threats, unlawful content, private information without permission, impersonation, spam, malware, or material that infringes another person’s rights. Ryze Guides may moderate or remove content and restrict participation to protect members and the service. Community content is not professional advice and may not reflect Ryze Guides’ views.
8. AI-assisted features
Ryze Guides may use software-assisted tools to help prepare work, but paid customer deliverables remain subject to human review.
AI-assisted output can be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for checking information and for decisions you make from it. Ryze Guides does not authorize an AI system to publish, purchase, contact someone, deploy software, or make a consequential decision on your behalf merely because it prepared a draft.
Agentic AI guidance is educational and strategic. Unless a signed statement of work says otherwise, Ryze Guides does not deploy production systems, handle your credentials, provide legal or compliance certification, or assume operational control of your technology.
9. Payments, taxes, and third-party services
Stripe and the applicable commerce platform process website payments. Amelia handles booking. MailerLite handles opted-in email lists. Apple may handle app distribution, device services, or an Apple-managed purchase. Each provider may apply its own terms and privacy policy.
You authorize the amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes. If a payment fails, access may pause while you update the payment method. You are responsible for fees or taxes the checkout assigns to you, except taxes Ryze Guides is legally required to pay directly.
10. Email communications
Ryze Guides may send transactional messages needed for a purchase, account, booking, delivery, subscription, security event, or support request. Marketing and beta emails are sent when you opt in or when otherwise permitted by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing with the link in each message without losing necessary service communications.
11. Your content, feedback, and testimonials
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Ryze Guides a limited license to use it only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service you requested.
Private feedback, intake answers, app notes, coaching context, and uploaded documents are not automatically testimonials. Ryze Guides will obtain separate permission before publicly identifying you or using private service content as a testimonial or marketing case.
If you deliberately submit content for public community display, you give Ryze Guides a non-exclusive license to host, display, format, and moderate it for that purpose. You may request removal, subject to legal, safety, integrity, and backup limits described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual property and permitted use
Ryze Guides owns or licenses the website, app, text, graphics, videos, logos, templates, guides, software, and proprietary frameworks. Purchased products and membership materials are for your personal, non-commercial use unless written terms say otherwise.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, publish, scrape for redistribution, remove rights notices, reverse engineer protected service components, use the materials to train a competing product, or make them available to other people without written permission or a legal right to do so.
13. Professional guidance and no guarantees
Ryze Guides provides education, strategy, and decision support. Outcomes depend on timing, markets, employer or customer decisions, implementation, effort, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, promotions, revenue, customers, funding, technical performance, regulatory approval, or any other specific result.
Verify legal, financial, medical, employment, privacy, security, and compliance decisions with the appropriate qualified professional or authoritative source. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions.
14. Acceptable use and termination
Do not use Ryze Guides to break the law, harm others, interfere with service operation, evade access controls, introduce malicious code, collect information without permission, or misrepresent an output as a guarantee or professional certification.
We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created a security or legal risk, failed to pay an amount due, or materially misused the service. Where practical, we will explain the reason and any available next step.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, services are provided without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every situation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ryze Guides is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid Ryze Guides for the service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim, except where law requires a different result.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold Ryze Guides harmless from third-party claims caused by your unlawful use, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit without the necessary rights. This section does not require you to indemnify Ryze Guides for its own unlawful conduct.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Rhode Island law without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in your location applies. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Nothing here limits a right you cannot waive under applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when a service or legal requirement changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes to an existing paid subscription will not be hidden inside a general update.
