Ryze Guides ("Ryze Guides," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have when you use ryze-guides.com, Ryze Wayfinder, our email list, Action Plans, growth-system memberships, coaching, or related services.
1. Information you choose to provide
Depending on how you work with us, you may provide:
- your name, email address, contact details, and account information;
- purchase, subscription, billing, and transaction information;
- coaching booking information and the context you choose to share before or during a session;
- Action Plan answers, goals, preferences, notes, and optional documents you upload for review;
- Ryze Wayfinder profile choices, selected domains, plans, check-ins, progress, notes, feedback, and optional community contributions;
- email preferences and beta-program responses; and
- reviews, support requests, surveys, or other messages you send us.
Stripe and the applicable commerce platform process full payment-card details. Ryze Guides does not store your full card number.
If you make an Apple-managed purchase, Apple processes the payment. Ryze Guides may receive a transaction or entitlement identifier, product and subscription status, renewal or expiration information, storefront or currency information, and other purchase-validation data needed to provide and restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.
Please don't submit passwords, government identifiers, bank credentials, medical records, or other information that isn't needed for the service you requested.
2. Information collected automatically
Our website and connected services may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, cookie choices, interactions, and diagnostic or security events. If you enable app notifications, Apple may provide a device-specific notification token. App diagnostics may include app version, device model, operating-system version, crash information, and feature-performance events.
Non-essential website analytics, advertising, and similar technologies are used only according to the choices available through our cookie controls and applicable law.
Some server-side request logs do not rely on browser cookies. We and service providers such as Microsoft Clarity may use limited request data to distinguish human traffic from known bots and AI systems, understand which public paths automated systems request, measure AI citations and referrals, protect the service, and plan capacity. When a provider can verify a bot operator or product, we may report that identity at an aggregate level. We do not treat a request as proof of the underlying AI model, account type, employer, or organization that may have initiated it unless that information is voluntarily provided or reliably authenticated.
3. The current Ryze Wayfinder beta
The current Ryze Wayfinder beta stores profile choices, check-ins, action completion, and workspace notes on your device. Those items remain on that device unless you deliberately share them with Ryze Guides or use a connected feature that clearly explains the transfer before it occurs. Removing the app or clearing its local data removes that local copy, subject to your device backups and Apple's systems.
The current beta does not send your Wayfinder notes or check-ins to a third-party AI provider. Before Ryze Guides enables account sync, cloud storage, community publishing, app purchases, advertising or cross-service tracking, or AI processing of your app content, we will update the relevant disclosure and obtain any consent required for that feature.
4. Membership and recurring-billing information
When you start or manage a growth-system membership, we may process the membership you selected, included domains, billing cadence, trial and renewal dates, price, payment status, entitlement status, account activity, cancellations, expiration, and support history. We use this information to activate access, provide the selected membership, show your current account status, process renewals or cancellation, prevent duplicate or unauthorized charges, and maintain records needed for support, disputes, accounting, tax, security, and legal obligations.
Easy Digital Downloads manages the website product and entitlement record, and Stripe processes website subscription payments. Ryze Guides does not receive or store your full payment-card number. If a future membership is purchased through Apple, Apple manages that purchase and may provide the transaction, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, or expiration information needed to validate access.
Canceling a membership stops future renewal according to the applicable billing terms, but it does not automatically erase transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or entitlement-history records that we must or reasonably need to retain. You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information as described below.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the product, Action Plan, growth-system membership, coaching, app, or support you requested;
- create and maintain your account, entitlements, saved work, delivery status, and receipts;
- process purchases, subscriptions, bookings, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and fraud checks;
- personalize your selected Ryze Guides domain, plan, resources, and progress experience;
- send service messages and, when you opt in, educational or marketing email;
- operate a beta program, evaluate feedback, fix problems, and improve usefulness;
- protect customers, Ryze Guides, and our systems from abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity;
- meet accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations; and
- analyze performance in an aggregated or de-identified form where practical.
Where applicable, our legal bases may include your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with law, and legitimate interests such as service improvement, security, and preventing fraud. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. AI-assisted work
Ryze Guides may use software-assisted tools to help organize research or prepare work, but paid customer deliverables remain subject to human review. We limit customer information to what is reasonably needed for the task and apply access, source-tracing, security, and review controls.
We will not describe a new external AI data flow as active until its provider, purpose, data categories, retention, and customer-facing disclosure have been reviewed. Ryze Guides does not grant an AI system permission to publish, purchase, contact someone, or make a consequential decision on your behalf merely because it helped prepare a draft.
7. Service providers
We use providers that help us operate specific parts of the service. Depending on the feature you use, they may include:
- WordPress and Easy Digital Downloads for the website, account, commerce, and digital delivery;
- Stripe for payment processing and fraud prevention;
- Amelia for coaching scheduling and booking;
- MailerLite for opted-in email lists, beta signup, confirmations, and email delivery;
- Apple for app distribution, device services, notifications, and any Apple-managed purchase;
- hosting, security, backup, support, and file-delivery providers;
- Jetpack, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok, or similar measurement tools when enabled and permitted by your cookie choices;
- Microsoft Clarity for consent-controlled interaction analytics on public pages and server-side bot, crawler, AI-visibility, citation, and referral measurement; and
- professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
These providers process information for their assigned purpose under their own terms and privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information for money. If applicable law treats a measurement or advertising technology as a "sale" or "sharing," you may use our cookie controls, browser controls, or applicable opt-out request to limit that activity.
8. Email and beta communications
MailerLite manages our marketing and beta subscriber lists. We ask for the minimum information needed for the list, use confirmation where configured, and include an unsubscribe link in marketing messages. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent service messages needed for a purchase, booking, account, security event, or requested delivery.
9. Community and public contributions
Ryze Wayfinder community participation is optional. Private browsing or private app use does not require appearing in a member directory. If you choose to post a comment or other contribution, the app will identify what becomes visible before you submit it. You may request removal of your contribution, subject to legal, safety, and integrity needs.
We do not publish private feedback, Action Plan answers, app notes, or coaching context as a testimonial or marketing example without separate permission.
10. Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described here. In general:
- on-device Wayfinder data remains until you clear it, remove the app, or restore a device backup;
- email-list information remains until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to a limited suppression record needed to honor your choice;
- account, entitlement, and service records remain while the account or service is active and for a reasonable period needed for support, disputes, security, and legal obligations;
- transaction and tax records remain for the period required by law;
- optional uploads and working service materials are removed or de-identified when they are no longer needed for delivery, support, quality review, or a legal obligation; and
- beta feedback may be retained while we evaluate and improve the tested feature, then removed or de-identified when identifiable detail is no longer needed.
If Ryze Wayfinder later supports account creation, the app will provide a discoverable way to initiate deletion of the account and associated personal data. You may also contact us using the details below. We may retain limited information when law requires it or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or document a completed transaction.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information and the service involved. No internet, cloud, device, or storage system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong unique password, protect your device, and contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. You may withdraw marketing consent through the unsubscribe link, manage cookies through our consent controls, change app permissions in your device settings, and ask us to review a privacy request.
We will verify requests as reasonably necessary and will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
13. International use
Ryze Guides and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When required, providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers. Local privacy rights may still apply to you.
14. Children
Ryze Guides is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child provided information, please contact us.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when a service, provider, or legal requirement changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. A future connected Wayfinder feature will not rely on this policy to hide a new data flow that should be explained in the app.
